    Community Supports

     

    The Salvation Army is running a food bank on Mondays for the Laurier Community from 9am to 3pm.  Contributions are also welcome. Please put any contributions in bags or boxes and leave on the tables during the same time on Mondays.

     

    Youth for Christ are offering online services for Youth in-risk as well as delivering meals. Any monitary contributions to keep the meals going for 5 days a week are welcome.

    Tutoring Partnership with Western University Indigenous Student Services

    TVDSB FNMI Education through a partnership with Indigenous Student Services at Western University are shifting their in school Spring program to a format where Indigenous students from any TVDSB school can contact the tutors for academic help through one-on-one sessions online or phone calls. The students from Western will also be holding group sessions online during this time for academic support and creating videos with tips for Indigenous students that can be of use now and into the future.
