Students from St. George’s Public School won't be relocated to Old North Public School in September 2025.
This comes after Thames Valley District School Board Trustees reversed a previously approved attendance area change at its meeting on November 26, 2024.

Students and staff at Strathroy District Collegiate Institute were safely evacuated after a fire on Friday morning.
No one was injured in the fire and students were cleared to return to the school just after 12:30 p.m.
Strathroy firefighters responded to reports of smoke just before noon.
Students and staff were evacuated to Gemini Sportsplex while firefighters inspected the scene.

Students and staff at Ingersoll District Collegiate Institute have been safely evacuated to Ingersoll District Memorial Centre (arena) following a fire at the school on Friday morning.
Ingersoll firefighters were called to the school around 10 a.m. to reports of smoke. The fire has been extinguished and firefighters remain on scene.
The school will be closed for the rest of the day while restoration crews clear smoke from the building.
